Participation of the Secretary General of UNCTAD

CBD COP8 - Curitiba, Brazil Plans are underway for the participation of Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi, the Secretary-General of UNCTAD, in the CBD COP and in the related ministerial side events. It is expected that his participation will focus on the topic of biodiversity and trade and in particular on BioTrade.
Sunday, 26 March The SG is expected to arrive on Sunday, 26 March, and to attend the evening cocktail reception hosted by President Lula of Brazil.
